We believe in supporting BC farmers and producers that humanely treat their animals and feed them a vegetarian diet free of by-products, chemical additives or growth hormones. Why? The answer is simple, food prepared from farms that adhere to these goals, simply tastes better, cooks better and looks better. It is the way it used to be before mass production and while it might not be the way of the masses, it is our way.
Boondocks Bar &Grill is a community landmark, and the bar is where to come whether you are a regular or from out of town, everyone is welcome.
The bar was built from salvaged 3 cigar-box mahogany, a single piece measuring over 5 metres taken from a church in Victoria that was being demolished. Below the bar top, adorning the front, are some of the corrugate panels from our old 1st Street location.
